Dates all year:  Our weekly retreats run Saturday to Saturday.  Every retreat has different guest teachers from around the world who bring unique talents and themes.

Personalize your retreat:  You can do all, some or none of the 10 yoga classes and 2-4 workshops.  We also offer many custom options, excursions and spa services.  These are all optional and will be paid at checkout. This allows you to personalize your week to perfection.

Yogic Practices For a Peaceful Life

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed? Anxious? Depressed? Searching for inner peace? What if there were specific things you could do to alleviate this sense of suffering, and help you navigate life’s challenges?

In this enriching 2 part workshop we will explore ancient yogic practices to support living a more balanced, joyful and peaceful life.

What you will learn:
-Different meditation and breathing techniques to uplift and nourish every aspect of your life and being.
-An introduction to the chakras and subtle anatomy.

Each session is approximately 90 minutes and the price is $99.

 

Joyful Movement

Movement is medicine. One definition of emotion is “energy in motion” and what better way to move old, stagnant emotion and energy than to move our bodies! Access your inner play, joy and freedom in this 75 minute guided movement session. Price is $25.

Selena Lael

Selena is ever grateful to her teachers. From birth she was surrounded by yogic teachings and practices. Her personal journey of yoga and meditation began at the age of 5 when she began Transcendental Meditation.

Selena spent many years studying different forms of yoga asanas, and chose to become certified as a Vinyasa Yoga Instructor in 2014.

In 2004 she graduated from the National Holistic Institute, where she studied massage therapy, anatomy and health education. She holds certifications as a Massage Therapist and Health Educator, Transformational Life Coach, Awakened Life teacher, Yoga Nidra Instructor and Dance Instructor.

For over 20 years she has been committed to her own spiritual practice, and has been a devoted student of Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi since 2001.

Her studies have brought a deeper understanding of the chakra system and subtle bodies, mindfulness practices that guide us back to the peace of the present moment, the practice of allowing, emotional intelligence, basic neuroscience, and much more. For decades she has studied yogic practices such as mantra meditation, asana, and different breathing/pranayama techniques, which she often incorporates into her classes and workshops.

In addition to retreats, Selena leads ongoing live meditation and mindfulness practices, dharma talks and lectures, and yoga for the Insight Timer and Wellness Coach apps.

She is passionate about creating a healing, all inclusive, uplifting environment, and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve, share the wisdom of her teachers and remind us to be kind with ourselves and enjoy this precious life!

 

Selena’s Teaching Philosophy

 

We are so much more than the physical body, emotions, and thoughts that come and go like clouds in the sky. One translation of the word yoga is, “union.” Union of the human consciousness/body consciousness with Divine consciousness. This is the foundation of Selena’s offerings. To experience the fullness of who we are, beyond our limited perception. To use the practice of yoga to become aware of the places inside of us needing care
and nourishment. To deepen our relationship with our Self, and express the joy, passion, peace, love and so on that resides in each of us. To strengthen and nourish the physical body, and subtle/energetic bodies.

Selena’s Alignment Based Vinyasa Flow teachings are a supportive balance of body alignment, breath awareness, play, and continually coming back to the present moment.

She has experience leading yoga for beginners and experienced yogis alike, making her classes available to all.

As a dancer and massage therapist, she understands that the body is always changing, and encourages yogis to listen to what their body is needing in the moment. She also has a deep appreciation for the dynamic play between flow and stillness, and brings both to her yoga offerings.

Her gentler yoga practices often end with the deeply healing and rejuvenating practice of yoga nidra. Allying down practice that guides the practitioner through the layers of being and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which naturally knows how to heal and restore.

With her rich background, Selena incorporates meditation, breath work,
power of thought, mindfulness, emotional freedom, and other practices for
peace of mind, body, emotions and spirit into her offerings.

Overflowing with love and devotion, she is grateful to serve, and be a support for each soul on their path of awakening.
