Every week we have different guest yoga teachers from around the world that come to teach at Anamaya bringing their unique talents and energy. Our retreats run from Saturday to Saturday.
The price of your retreat starts with your BASE RATE (which includes your accommodations and meals). Excursions, workshops, and other add-ons you choose to customize your week will be added to your final bill at Anamaya.

Eva Marie was both a dancer and a gymnast as a child. As an adult she ran several marathons including Boston and taught three years of Pole Fitness. After a decade of struggling with a severe gluten intolerance her nutritional challenges brought her to living a Vegetarian/gluten-free lifestyle. Her arduous journey has helped her to be more mindful, aware and compassionate toward all sentient beings.
Spirituality, alignment and wellness are highly integrated into her life and her teaching. She stepped into the yoga room eleven years ago and knew that yoga was a practice she’d have for life.
Yoga, in it’s truest form, aligns with her philosophy on life…it allows her to live authentically, share her truth and help others explore theirs.
She completed her 500hr YTT in Costa Rica and guides her students with compassion and love, always honoring each individual’s needs.
She’s hosted several international yoga retreats in the United States, Costa Rica and Mexico. Teaching is her dharma, her truest calling.
She is passionate about helping people navigate their life in the highest way while guiding them back to their true nature.
Sharing the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy, movement, meditation and music, she will take you on an inner & outer journey of healing and transformation.
Meditation is an integral part of her own personal practice.
Having been trained in many different types including Transcendental meditation, Japa Mala and guided meditation, she’s has found it important to share all the options so that her students can find what speaks to them.
Additionally, she is a certified Reiki practitioner…this ancient Japanese method of healing uses energy to balance the body, mind and spirit.
Eva Marie is on a lifelong journey of remembering, healing, serving and loving….cultivating as much love and light to reflect it all back to everyone she meets.
Eva’s greatest joy is to show up fully in life. While she feels a tremendous responsibility to each sweet soul that comes to her class, she teaches from a place of lightness and ease recognizing that ultimately each person awakens and heals themselves.
She is clear that through the practice of yoga, we all can find our highest purpose with joy, gratitude and love. She sees the practice as a template for navigating our life in the highest way. She believes that we are meant to be playful and stay open to the infinite possibilities that life has to offer.

Having dealt with anxiety for most of her life she has found that movement, breath and meditation are an integral and necessary practice to first shift the energy in the body, creating space so that we can then explore our deepest self… our soul space.
Having studied and practiced many different types of asana she has found that the practice of Vinyasa and Yin are a great complement to each other.
Teaching with authenticity and compassion always recognizing that every person who steps into her class is not only different, but each day we are different. Through the beauty of her words, clear alignment cues and a passionate connection to something greater than herself she helps brings you back to your true nature.
All we need is to stay present, a willingness to keep our heart and mind open and to simply show up on the mat.

In this workshop, we’ll not only learn how back-bending is the healer of the spine, but how it heals the heart.
Using breath and movement we’ll create space to go deeper into the physical postures.
Often we close our hearts to “protect“ourselves. We want to avoid suffering and so we build a wall or a barrier around our hearts. When we hold on to our stories or unhealed past traumas and events we literally stop the prana or life force from flowing to and through us.
This journey will help you to release the past and let go of all the things that no longer serve you. This is a process and a practice for life that will allow you to evolve on the spiritual path and connect you to your highest self
We’ll also incorporate soul gazing to help soften and break down all the barriers we’ve created around the heart.
The heart is the pathway to higher consciousness, and only through releasing the pain of the past can we experience true healing, and find inner peace and a sense of ease. You will find your inner light and aliveness in this space.

Together we’ll explore our creative side and make our own sacred Mala bead necklaces and learn how to use them in Japa Mala Meditation.
There are 108 beads plus one guru bead and the ancient yogis believe that there are 108 energy lines that connect to form the heart chakra. A Japa mala can have less than 108 beads, but the number will always be divisible by nine, such as 18, 27, and 54. We will learn how using a mantra along with the Mala helps to promote healing.
All types of meditation can be used for relief from anxiety, depression, and stress. It promotes a clear mind, concentration, and focus. It awakens and deepens a spiritual connection to something greater than yourself.
In addition to Japa Mala, we’ll explore Transcendental Meditation. This is a practice Eva has had for 7 years and has found deeply healing and life-transforming. She recognizes that different types of meditation like all practices will resonate differently with each individual and is excited to share a few.
Finally, she’ll take you through a profoundly healing guided meditation using the beauty of her words along with high vibrational music allowing you to go to in to the deepest corners of your mind, body, and soul.
This workshop will bring you a better understanding of how we energetically cling to our emotions, trauma, and loss. We will learn to bring awareness to where we need healing and begin to explore the subtle body, our chakras, and our energetic centers.
First learning to identify the location of an imbalanced chakra, you’ll feel incredibly empowered. You’ll begin recognizing emotional, physical, and spiritual imbalances and notice the ways they manifest in all areas of your life.
Chakras can become a little blocked or a lot. If we’re under too much stress, eating unhealthy food, or maybe we’ve experienced great loss or indulging in self-destructive behavior. Like all things, imbalances can change depending on what experiences we’re having.
After taking a Chakra Blockage Test we’ll use the following methods to bring back balance:
