New Years Retreat in Costa Rica – Mari Patuzzo

Most people don’t actually want a new year. They want a new feeling.

The countdowns. The resolutions you’ll break by February. The champagne hangover and the vague pressure to become someone better, starting now. By January 2nd, you’re already behind.

What if you stepped into 2027 differently?

Join Mari Patuzzo at Anamaya Resort for a week designed to help you arrive in the new year as yourself, only clearer. Move through intuitive practices, grounding workshops, and soul-nourishing yoga on an open-air deck above the Pacific.

Or simply sit with the sound of the jungle and let the turning of the year happen quietly.

You’ll cross into 2027 feeling settled, open, and genuinely ready for what’s coming.

This is not a resolution. This is a return. Book your spot today.

“I can’t say enough positive words to describe my stay at Anamaya. The place itself is gloriously beautiful. The staff are caring, warm, attentive and kind. The food was delicious, creative, healthy and satisfying. The spa services are remarkable. The two yoga decks are so beautiful. There are many fun day trips to choose from… it doesn’t get much better than this.” – Karen

Mari Patuzzo

There is a particular kind of teacher who makes you feel simultaneously seen and set free. Mari is that teacher.

Her path into yoga began nearly a decade ago with Ashtanga, drawn by the mystery of how a human body could hold such strength and such stillness at once. That curiosity never left her. It took her to India in 2018 for a transformational Ashtanga-Vinyasa teacher training, and deeper still into the philosophy, history, and inner landscape that yoga quietly maps.

What she brings to the mat is hard to put into words but easy to feel. A steadiness. A warmth. A rare ability to hold space for the parts of you that do not usually get permission to breathe.

If you have ever left a class feeling more like yourself than when you arrived, you already know what practicing with Mari feels like.

“This trip really exceeded all expectations. The place is as beautiful as the pictures would suggest! Cristiane was awesome, and provided options for all levels. Nearby activities (zipline, beach, surfing, etc.) fun and easy to get to. The food was delicious, and the kitchen asked each of us our preferences and provided accordingly. I’d love to come back and spend another week soon!” – Phil
