MARYBETH BRADY

Marybeth Brady is the Founder of Wild Heart Yoga in Austin, TX, where she serves her local and global community through public classes, workshops, sound healing experiences, Yoga Teacher Trainings, International Yoga & Wellness Retreats, and events.

A 500 E-RYT Certified Yoga Teacher, with over 12 years and 3,000 hours of teaching experience, she is delighted to guide students along the 8-limb path of yoga. Marybeth has been a devoted student of yoga for 20 years, and believes a teacher is always a student first.

A lunar lover, intuitive, astrology muse, crystal enthusiast, Reiki practitioner, sound healer, mama bear, and inspired by the vast and brilliant Universe, she believes in the divine connection to Earth and the Cosmos and the ancestral wisdom we all possess that connects us to both planes. Marybeth is deeply connected to energy and uses both sound frequency and Reiki to explore these depths as a student and teacher. She teaches heartfelt and thought-provoking classes and experiences curated  to expand our consciousness and reawaken our wild hearts.

Her teachings are full of introspection, joy, and radical honesty.

There was a time when yoga was merely a physical practice and outlet for moving her body. Trauma and grief revealed yoga through a new lens, and this was the path that led Marybeth to dedicating her life to practicing and teaching yoga. This path has revealed the complexities of light and dark, free will, and the simplest truth, that at our core love isn’t just something we feel; it’s something we are.

Marybeth is deeply influenced by the teachings of Seane Corne and  Denise Deniger

HOW A 3 WEEK YTT SCHEDULE WORKS

Whether a desire to teach or simply deepen your practice, this experience will open your wild heart!

One of the biggest joys is the friendships made with others during this experience.  And most cherished, is the relationship you build with yourself.

In this Yoga Teacher Training, you’ll Initiate your journey into sharing the gift of yoga, whether it’s in front of a classroom, with friends and family, or more deeply with yourself. Through an exploration of yogic philosophy, asana, pranayama, meditation, teaching skills, chakras, and other essential skills, you will find your authentic voice and self in the seat of the teacher.

In my experience, Yoga Teacher Training changed the entire trajectory of my life! What I thought would be learning the anatomy of Triangle Pose, morphed into a beautiful and sacred journey getting to know myself from a renewed and radically honest perspective.  I was able to unpack the layers of my beliefs and strengthen my relationship to self, to others, and to our vast and brilliant Universe!

During our 3 weeks together, we will step onto the mat as a gateway to self-reflection and growth. Many trainees experience life-changing lessons and experiences that allow them to show up more fully as a student of life and a teacher of yoga. My goal is to prepare you for sharing yoga in the way that serves your unique and wild heart. You’ll have many opportunities to apply what you’re learning in a practical way, through teaching and also through everyday life.

By the end, you will be able to teach a full class safely and confidently and show up for yourself and others with more grace and compassion.

The training meets the requirements set by Yoga Alliance for a 200-hour RYT certification. By completing, you will be able to register with YA and seek employment as a full or part-time yoga teacher.

testimonials

This training has truly changed EVERYTHING for me. It’s shifted how I look at myself and the things that go on in my mind, it’s shifted how I look at everyone else (like divine beings). It’s given me a confidence I never knew I had and it’s made me feel seen and heard and loved TRULY for who I am for the first time in possibly my whole life. I feel strong, and connected on a level I never could have dreamed of. I came into this not knowing if I wanted to teach, it was a personal journey for me but it’s because of the SUCCESS of the personal journey that I can’t imagine any greater joy or honor than to share yoga with others. THANK YOU!

Leaving this training feels like I’m saying goodbye to an old friend looking back at who and where I was when this experience began. A room of strangers from all different walks of life, became a family who I know I could call on for anything.. I found my own voice and then some, and never thought I’d be able to articulate and show vulnerability the way I have. My body has undergone transformation, my mind is aware without as much gripping and attachment, and my soul is singing louder than it ever has before.
Sierra
This training has changed me in so many ways! Because of the community we built I have felt empathy, compassion and vulnerability in ways I’ve never felt before. I have never felt so seen and loved in a group setting like this before - that changes you. I feel like I am a different person than when we first started- it’s completely and utterly changed my life for the better. I feel like I am moving and breathing in the world a different human - one that is more present and aware - one that is more compassionate and caring for the world around me - one who genuinely tries to see the good in all those around me. This training has taught me what yoga really means and how to live yoga off of my mat. It helped me realize that we don’t have to have it together and pretend like we’ve got it all together. I have a totally different view of what asana practice looks and feels like. I am so grateful to have experienced this and to have had enough faith and courage to step out on this journey. I feel that my life will never be the same moving forward and I cannot wait to see what doors this opens in the future.
Sarah
This training liberated me! Through different ways, little by little I explored and released some constructive ways of thinking about what it means to be a spiritual teacher. I thank you Marybeth for your patience as I (and my ego) tested and pushed against the boundaries. The following words are excerpted from the letter that you had us write to ourselves when we began training. On that morning of our last day of training, as I read the words I had written to myself I gaped in awe at the wisdom of myself. What a wonderful gift you have given me through this exercise. I thank you for that. I feel not so much changed by the experience but rather reminded of who I am.
Marcos
Aside from the empathy I feel for this group of humans, this YTT has broadened my level of empathy across human kind, and I find myself more forgiving, less judgemental, and overall, a kinder and more grounded human being. Aside from feeling physically stronger than I have in a VERY long time, I also feel more connected emotionally and spiritually, and this training has taught me to let go of stereotypes about women/men, working/staying home, doing yoga/running triathlons, etc. I have found something that works for me and WITH me at this stage of my life, and I’m forever grateful for the space you held for me, and the opportunity and education you have given me.
