ANAMAYA Accommodations
At Anamaya we have 15 lovely rooms to choose from that are all unique, eclectic and beautiful. Your accommodation price is based on how many people you share the room with. You get to decide if you want more of a communal room or private room. Here are the 4 categories to choose from and the prices. The photos of the rooms below are linked to pages that describe each room. What’s available will be largely based on when you book.
These per person base rates include 7 nights accommodation and 3 delicious healthy meals (plus a daily snack) per day. As much of our food as possible is grown at our organic farm and it’s all gluten and dairy free with vegetarian and vegan options. We don’t serve red meat, but do have fresh local fish and chicken. Most of our guests can’t believe how delicious it is while still being healthy and without gluten or dairy. The food is definitely a highlight of the Anamaya experience!
NOTE: The first price listed is for our Low Season (May – Oct), and the second price is for High Season (Nov – April). Plus there is an added $200 for the Christmas and new years weeks.
Dorm Rate:
$795 / $895
per week (plus tax).
We have two lovely “dormitory style” rooms at Anamaya that accommodate 5 women. Both Dorms have stunning ocean views, are a great option for solo travelers and are for women only.
Triple Rate:
$945 / $1,195
per week (plus tax).
We have three rooms at Anamaya that accommodate 3 people… including our amazing treehouse! Each with amazing ocean views that will take your breath away. Our triple rooms are for women only.
Double Rate:
$1,095 / $1,395
per week (plus tax).
Choose one of our beautiful double occupancy cabanas, each with epic views and private bathrooms. These rooms are perfect for couples or BFFs, mother & daughter, etc. They are only booked in pairs.
Single Deluxe:
$1,645 / $1,995
per week (plus tax).
Enjoy everything Anamaya has to offer AND have one of our beautiful deluxe cabanas all to yourself.

- Classes, workshops, treatments, alcoholic drinks or other “extras” are not included in the price – so you can customize your own retreat so it suits your needs perfectly. See options below.
- All rooms have fans and Air Conditioners.
- These per person base rates listed above include one week of accommodations (Sat – Sat) and three mouth-watering meals per day plus an afternoon snack.
- 13% Tax will be added.
- We love children, but sometimes having kids at Anamaya can be tricky. Please contact our reservations team to discuss if Anamaya is the right fit for you and your little ones.
- RETURNING GUEST DISCOUNT – receive $100 off your base rate each time you return home to Anamaya!
- MULTIPLE WEEK DISCOUNTS – If you stay with us for 2 weeks you will receive $100 off each retreat. If you stay with us for 3 weeks you will receive $150 off each retreat. If you stay with us for 4 weeks you will receive $200 off each retreat. Please note these discounts are not valid for Private Retreats or Yoga Teacher Trainings. This discount is valid for weeks that you aren’t already using another promotion. In other words, if you booked the first week with a 30% off special, then the first week wouldn’t receive the multiple week discount but the subsequent weeks could.

Options to create your perfect retreat
We offer a variety of classes and tours at Anamaya. Prices listed do not include tax and will be added to your extras bill when you check out.
PLEASE NOTE: Some of these options are only available during weekly retreats, and prices & details are subject to change.
Circus Performance and Dance Party – This is the celebration we do at the end of our IN HOUSE retreats where we have local talent and staff performances, and then a chance to get your dance groove on! ***For Private Retreat Leaders: You can hire the talent to provide your guests with a performance as well. Please contact the Retreat Coordinator for more info.
Yoga Classes – We offer 1.5 hr Vinyasa Flow classes 6 mornings a week, and 1 hr Yin/Restorative/Slow Flow classes 4 afternoons a week, for $15 per class.
Private Yoga – One-on-one lesson (price and availability depends on teacher).
Salsa Class – Salsa dance lesson over looking the ocean (not always available). 1 hr for $15. (4 person minimum)
Cooking Demo – Learn to cook Costa Rican food Anamaya style. Please note, this is a demonstration with some participation. 1 hr for $15. (4 person minimum)
Spanish Class – Basic fun Spanish lesson. 1 hr for $15. (4 person minimum)
Tortuga Island Snorkeling Boat Tour – Enjoy a lovely 45 minute boat ride from Montezuma beach to the famous Tortuga Island. You have 2 snorkeling spots, lunch is included, and lots of chill time on the island. Guests often see lots of exotic wildlife. The boat leaves at 9am and returns at 4pm, the price is $75 – $85 (depending on time of year and transportation).
Zipline Canopy Tour – Available 2 times per day. It’s about 2.5 hrs for $55. It’s conveniently right next to Anamaya and has 9 zipline cables across 13 platforms. It’s a great way to enjoy the jungle and wildlife. The guided tour includes a stop at the upper Montezuma waterfall pools for a refreshing swim.
Bioluminescence Boat Trip – Experience the magic of bioluminescent plankton. We are located in an area that you can see the bioluminescence all year. You leave Anamaya at 4 pm and return at 8:30 pm. The price is $50-$80/person, plus transportation (price varies by number of people).
Surf Lessons – Beginner to Intermediate. Enjoy a 40 min beach and jungle hike to a remote pristine beach called playa grande. The trip is about 3 hrs and the times are dependent on the tides. The price is $70 per person for a group class. A private class for 2 people is $180 ($90 per person). Or a private lesson for $120.
Surf Board Rental – For experienced surfers your board rental is $30 and transportation is $20.
Scuba Certification – Receive your CMAS International diving license at Anamaya in partnership with Isla Tortuga Dive Club. 5 classes in the pool, 3 – 4 beach dives, and 1 deep ocean dive and boat trip with lunch and refreshments included. The price for this is $700 per person (or $1200 for two people).
Horseback Riding – There are a couple of different options depending on the time of the year and availability. Please inquire with the Reception Department once you arrive at Anamaya.
Butterfly Garden – Next door down the hill from Anamaya. Now OPEN! Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm. ENTRANCE IS FREE!! An unforgettable experience!!
Beach Access – Montezuma is only 1 mile from Anamaya and has many lovely beaches to explore. You can walk to take a taxi any time.
Sunset Beach Trip to Santa Teresa – This is a highlight experience. Departs at 1pm on Wednesday returning at 7pm for $30.
Waterfall Hike – The famous Montezuma waterfalls are just out our back door. We have our own private entrance. You can go anytime you’d like and there is no charge.
Spa Services – Definitely a huge part of the Anamaya experience and a wonderful way to relax and restore. We have pretty much any type of treatment you could imagine. See our Spa Menu for more details.
