Dates all year:  Our weekly retreats run Saturday to Saturday.  Every retreat has different guest teachers from around the world who bring unique talents and themes.

Personalize your retreat:  You can do all, some or none of the 10 yoga classes and 2-4 workshops.  We also offer many custom options, excursions and spa services.  These are all optional and will be paid at checkout. This allows you to personalize your week to perfection.

Example: 10 yoga classes = $150 + tax

This series combines the healing practices of yoga with therapeutic techniques tailored to reduce stress and promote well-being.

We will delve into the foundations of stress—its causes, effects on the body and mind, and how it manifests in our bodies. Through guided discussions and self-reflection, you will gain insights into your own stress triggers and learn practical tools to identify and manage stress in daily life.

We will explore a variety of gentle yoga practices specifically curated to induce relaxation and alleviate tension. From breathwork (pranayama) and physical yoga poses to guided meditations and progressive muscle relaxation, you will experience firsthand how these techniques can calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation.

We will focus on the integration of mindfulness into everyday life as a powerful tool for stress reduction. Learn how to cultivate present-moment awareness through mindfulness practices such as mindful movement, walking meditation, and mindful eating. Discover how mindfulness can boost your resilience and empower you to respond to stress with clarity and composure.

Liana DeScala

Liana was first introduced to yoga in 2010 during her first semester in college, when she registered for a credited yoga class. She fell in love with the Asana practice of yoga and began making yoga a way of life.

In 2018, Liana traveled to Anamaya Resort in Montezuma, Costa Rica where she studied to become a certified yoga teacher. This allowed her to begin sharing her passion for yoga with others. She plans to build upon her 200 RYT training by attending workshops and earning additional certifications as she strongly believes in being a life-long learner.

Liana is a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) as well as a 500-RYT with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges completion of her yoga teacher training through a Registered Yoga School (RYS). Having completed over 1000 teaching hours, she became a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). 

In August 2023, Liana earned her Masters Degree in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health. In addition to her Masters Degree, Liana obtained her C-IAYT certification which allows her to practice as a Yoga Therapist.

Liana believes that yoga is not only a great way to gain strength and flexibility, but it connects the body and mind as well. She believes that the practice of yoga can be adopted by anyone, with any level of experience. Yoga has changed Liana’s life by connecting her mind to her body and helped her to build self-confidence. It is her desire to guide others on their yoga journey and she hopes that sharing her practice can make a positive impact in their lives.
