Native to tropical areas of Latin America, cacao is chocolate before the processing; an unsugared, unadulterated form of one of our world’s favorite sweets. Known as a super food, cacao is high in magnesium, calcium, antioxidants, and iron – and is an incredible mood booster! One of its components is anandamide, a neurotransmitter known as the bliss molecule. For those with an interest or background in yoga and/or Hindu philosophy, you may know that the word “ananda” means bliss and refers to a higher state of being. Cacao facilitates our goal of achieving that blissful state and deepening our connection to our truest selves, Mother Nature, and universal oneness. According to an indigenous myth, when the balance between humankind and nature is threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open our hearts and return us to harmony. For those of you who know that your connection with chocolate runs deep, we invite you to experience another dimension of that connection – a deeply spiritual or shamanic one. Ceremonial cacao partners with us, facilitating the journey inward and the discovery of our truest, highest, most love-filled selves.

Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. While many of the types of dance and music featured in the program are Latin American inspired, classes can also contain everything from jazz to African beats to country to hip-hop and pop. No dance experience required. Exercise in disguise and a great way to awaken our kundalini and Inner Flavah!

Journaling is an easy and accessible tool for self-realization, self-care and self-discovery that can uncover layers of past build up and fears of future. It can lead to huge insights about where you are in your life’s journey and can also lead to new and open possibilities. It is also a beautiful tool for letting out stuff (read scars from old hurts) out and cleaning space for what is new and fresh.
Intentional journaling means that you seat to be with yourself and the emotions and feelings of a particular situation or moment in order to get different perspective of a particular “problem”. It is also where one learn how to use writing as a tool for co-creation and manifestations of one’s dreams and desires.
In this workshop you will learn about seating with intention and using essential oils and the senses to muse yourself and become your best ally in the gorgeous and sometimes challenging Art of living well.
