Since 2009, Anamaya has been offering life-changing 7-day wellness, detox and yoga retreats. You might think it’s lofty to say that a 7-day retreat can change your life, but Anamaya isn’t like most Retreat Centers and our guests agree.

Our unique location in Costa Rica, is one of the world’s Blue Zones, overlooks pristine jungle and 270 degrees of epic ocean views.

Enjoy the view hanging out in our stunning salt water infinity pool… take a couple of adventurous excursions… start the morning with a yoga class… find yourself again with a specialized workshops… treat yourself to a spa service (or three!)… and hit the reset button.

ADVENTURE

Costa Rica is the perfect place to add some adventure into your life! We offer zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, boat tours and more! Feel free to add one or two of these excursions to your retreat, or fill your days with one adrenaline rush after another!

SURFING

If you are new to surfing, or an avid surfer who would like to take their skills to the next level – there is no better place to surf than Costa Rica. Surf with professional instructors who are attentive and focused on all the details, so you can enjoy the ocean in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

PURE YOGA

Most of our guests come to Anamaya to practice yoga on our epic yoga decks overlooking the ocean and the jungle. You can participate in all 10 classes we offer throughout the week… or take a class here and there, depending on how you feel… or decide not to participate in yoga at all… the choice is up to you.

REJUVENATION

If you’re interested in creating a retreat for yourself that includes relaxing and recharging your batteries, then we have numerous options for you to do just that. From our extensive Spa Treatment Menu to our fun beach excursions… you will have the opportunity to get out of your head and back into your body for the rejuvenation you deserve.

COUPLES

We have many private rooms designed well for intimate partners, couples massages and a romantic dining option on the patio (in dry season) for those interested in cultivating more connection.

SCUBA CERTIFICATION

Are you interested in becoming a certified scuba diver? We offer the CMAS International Diver Training Certification System to certify new divers. This course is the equivalent to PADI’s Advanced Open Water Certification. The first few classes are right in our pool!

Can't say enough about how special the Anamaya Resort is. The atmosphere is super friendly, casual and relaxing which I appreciate because we (husband, adult daughter and her friend) were not looking for a stuffy hotel type of service/environment. Gorgeous setting, lovely and clean accommodations with great views, genuine staff, excellent spa treatment selection and service, great yoga classes twice a day (Banyan Gallagher....but the teachers vary from week to week) and loved the camaraderie built over the week with fellow visitors (15 guests total the week we were there). A highlight was the tour of their organic farm where all their delicious food comes from and the beach trip with all the guests and staff (surfing for those that wanted it). Will come again!
